The Funnest Job

Several years ago I was able to change from a business career to my dream pastime, oil painting.

A spare room in the basement converted into my studio. When the paintings started stacking out the door, my hobby turned into a mini-business. I decided to contact some galleries and boutiques about selling my landscapes and still lifes.

Today my paintings are in Wild Rose's Home Furnishings in West Seattle. I also have an Etsy shop JanetRambleArt which features original oil paintings and vintage.

Etsy has been fantastic. It is so helpful to see instantly which subjects appeal to buyers, and I love personal feedback from my lovely customers. Thank you for visiting!
